At Aquariums4Life, we offer a range of pelmet designs, from the classic Open-Top Pelmet to fully custom steel-framed, ceiling-height enclosures. Whether you're after simplicity or a statement piece, we have a solution to suit your aquarium's function and style.
While the traditional advice has been to choose an open pelmet, to avoid prolonged water exposure damaging the laminate—our manufacturing has evolved. We now edge all laminate panels with a highly durable PUR glue system, greatly improving resistance to moisture and extending the lifespan of your pelmet and cabinet.
Standard Open Pelmet
Included with all aquarium cabinets (except braceless builds), this pelmet is designed to discreetly mask the internal glass bracing at the top of your tank.

Designed specifically for tropical aquariums, this pelmet ensures clear access for pipework by accommodating gaps in the rear corners of the bracing.
It can also support lighting fixtures from the inside.
